The Clay Habitat’s website & online shop acts solely as a disclosed agent for the sale of the works by Clay Habitat’s members. When you make a purchase via Clay Habitat’s website & online shop, you are purchasing directly from them.

Shipping:

We use Royal Mail, DPD and UPS for all our shipping requirements.

Packages go out one to seven business days from the day of receiving confirmed payments of your purchases. In the UK, it may take up to a further 3 working days from despatched for your item to arrive. ** However, we would like to advise our customers that delivery of our Online Store orders could be delayed due to precautions being taken during these COVID 19 pandemic times. **

We currently will only accept International orders by arrangements. Please contact us for more detailed information prior to ordering online. International buyers will be responsible for duties, fees, or taxes incurred.

Collection:

We offer FREE Local Collection for your purchases in Walthamstow, Peckham Rye, and Sanderstead.

Not all items are available for Local Collection at the various available location(s). Please see details in the product description.

If you choose Local Collection on your order, we will email you the available time slots for collection at the selected location upon confirmation of your order.

If your total order contains items available for collection at different locations, the option for local collections will be disabled as we cannot fulfil split locations collection on a single order. Please contact us to make arrangements prior to ordering.

Cancellation :

If you decide to cancel your order after it has been confirmed and the payment has been processed, we will gladly give you a full refund of your purchase amount ONLY on the condition that your items have not been despatched.

Once an order has been despatched, we cannot accept a cancellation.

Refunds and Exchanges :

We currently do not have a refund policy.

If an item reaches you in a damaged condition we will gladly replace it with a similar item of equal value. You will be required to send the damaged item back to us at your cost. Upon receiving and inspecting the damaged item, we will then send you your replacement.

We do not exchange merchandise that reaches you in good condition.

We do our best to accurately depict and describe the items on our online shop. However, due to the nature of colours on your screen resolution of your digital devices, colours may appear slightly different from the physical item. Furthermore, please keep in mind that all items are made by hand and retain unique variations in glazes, patterns, shape and form.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

You can contact us via our Contact Form here. We will only use the data you submitted via our contact form to reply to your queries. We do not store or share your details or use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Onine shop

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Payments

We accept payments through Square. Square’s website address is https://squareup.com . When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Square, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total, billing information and card payment details.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
